Under the name beauxdimanches lies the song ‘Beaux Dimanches’ by Amadou and Mariam.
Behind this melody are many Sundays at dawn.
Behind these Sundays are Hippolyte and Orlane.
- Our history -
We're both passionate about vintage and design.
We created beauxdimanches in 2020, after Hippolyte discovered an old armchair in a Parisian street a few years earlier. Hidden under a sheet for some time, it simply served as a comfortable armchair.
It was during a pop-up, many months later, that we discovered that this seemingly antiquated armchair was in fact a Mushroom by designer Pierre Paulin.
This discovery made us aware of all the hidden treasures in your homes.
beauxdimanches was born.

Passionate about 20th century design, we believe that every piece of furniture and every object has a story to tell.
We are committed to making vintage more accessible, at fairer prices, and to offering you a selection of eclectic furniture and pieces furniture and eclectic pieces dating from the 20th century, so that your home looks like no other.
We travel the length and breadth of France and Europe to bring you our very own selection.
From furniture from the 50s to decorative objects from the 80s, including typical 70s furnishings which you can find in our boutique or on our e-shop.

We start from a single principle: all the pieces are pieces that could have ended up with us.
It's a job we're passionate about, so we might as well find pieces we like! We repair, reupholster and upholster our furniture ourselves, or with the help of local craftsmen, so that we can offer you products in the best possible condition. We're committed to giving a second life to our finds, to prolong their history even further.
